I have been wrecking again but, thankfully, this time I've been wrecking something other than my life. I'm kidding. I'm getting kind of good at this life thing. This month's pages have all been about colour, spontaneity and patterns and I have to say I'm pretty happy with them. Let me know what you would have done with these prompts in the comments below. Time to get creative and have a peek at my latest Wreck This Journal pages...

+ TITLE PAGE

This was quite a spontaneous couple of pages and I think it shows. However, I really like how scruffy and impromptu it looks. It's like you can see the creativity on the page. God, I sound like a knob. In hindsight, I should have used pen on some parts because it would have been a lot neater but meh. I love the combination of colours. I think my biggest inspiration for these pages were The Flinstones. Yabbadabbado, indeed.

+ instructions page
I love how childlike these pages are. They're just ridiculously bright and fun and I think that represents part of my personality. Who doesn't love colouring in bubble writing?! I think the multicoloured border works really well too. These pages are ridiculous and simple but creativity doesn't have to be solely about fine art or creating a masterpiece.

+ drum on this page with pencils

+ name page

+ close your eyes and connect the dots
I tried and tried to make this page photograph well but tough tits, we'll just have to deal with it. I really really enjoyed creating this page and I think it's definitely one of my favourites. The idea behind this was to close your eyes and connect the dots but it was a little bland so I decided to attack it with paint and paste in some planets. I've also stuck in some glow in the dark stars so they should make the page really pop!
What do you think of my pages? How would you have done them? I'd love to see any blog posts that you've done on your Wreck This Journal so feel free to share them. I'm off to do a spot of writing ♥

ReplyDeleteWow this is probably one of the best Wreck This Journals I've ever seen. I bought one a couple of years ago and completely wrecked it by not thinking about what I was going to do on each page and just diving straight in. Yours is looking amazing though, love the space themes and how colourful it all is! x
