(stunning illustration, i'm sure you'll agree)
I was meant to dedicate a post to this after I came back off holiday all the way back in July. (You can view some of my holiday photos whilst weeping into your hot beverage here). However, I'm an incompetent fool and completely forgot that I promised you an insight into my travel journal that I actually fell in love with. There's still tons of room left in the journal so I'll be dragging it around the world with me for a few years to come. Have any of you guys ever kept a diary like this (albeit with better illustrations)? Apologies for the extremely dodging lighting/blurring issues on some of these images. I only had the scanner for a very short time because Luke has bought himself the new Batman game so I couldn't re-do them! Boo. Click on the images to view them in better quality.
There you have it! My scribbly little travel journal. I'd just like to point out that this is in no way sponsored. Unfortunately, I've yet to reach the stage in life where people send me journals just for spouting a lot of shit on the internet. A girl can dream! I'm off to immerse myself in creative writing work; it seems to be the only thing I ever do! Luckily, I've got a film and snacks night to make the situation a little easier. Hope you're all well!
That journal is ever so sweet! The little doodles are incredibly charming also.
ReplyDeletethis is proper cute, bee! i made my own tiny journal thingie (how caveman of me!) when i went to a yoga camp, it was so much fun. have to dig it out sometime!
ReplyDeletegood luck on your work, could be worse than creative writing i suppose! film & snacks night sounds nice though, have fun xo

ReplyDeleteAw, this is so cute. I have a travel journal from my time living abroad during my degree, but it's so regimented compared to yours. Wish I'd made more of a creative effort with it now.

Wow this is a incredible travel log, I want one so bad even though I'm not going anywhere anytime soon! But I want one just to look at the cute design! When I was away I kept a diary but it was just on a standard notebook which seems immensely boring now!

This is probably a really weird thing to say, but I love your handwriting! It's such a cute little idea, I wrote a diary during my last holiday, and looking back on it it's a really good way to keep the memories alive and remember things you would have otherwise forgot! The little pictures are so cute too! The draw yourself here page is one of my favourites, you're a talented artist! I love the lists too, who doesn't love a good list?!

I love this! I read lots of kids travel journals (for my job of course...) and they have the best ideas and doodles. Way more fun than adult ones full of blank pages!
