Things To Do In Cornwall

After a pretty testing year, Mum and I decided to get away from it all for a few days and head down to Cornwall for a quiet weekend. I've taken quite a few trips to Cornwall over the past twenty one years, and enjoyed many caravan holidays there, and I have even blogged a couple before: Remember that time I went camping back in April of last year? Excuse me whilst I just laugh at Luke's hair in the first link, and cringe my arse off at the second link.

We had a pretty lovely weekend. It was calm. It was peaceful. It was just what we needed. We sat about reading, popped to the charity shops and had a wander around Padstow.

The necklace above is from Jo Downs' shop in Padstow. It's currently being stowed away as it's one of Mama's Christmas presents! What have you been up to recently? What do you do to just get away from the world for a while?

  1. So glad you had the chance to get away, looks like a really really beautiful break. I wish I had Xmas organised already. I don't. It's going to be a disaster. I am a disaster with Xmas.
